This ABU Garcia medium action fishing rod is in very good condition. It’s a 1 piece rod that is 68 in. long. It only weighs 6 oz. Has 7 guides including the tip top guide. It was produced in the 1980’s when Boron rods were supposed to be the next big thing. This rod is 100% graphite with 3 boron Sensor strips towards the handle. The 3 strips go up to the 1st guide. As you can see from the photos this rod was well taken care of. It’s not perfect. There some normal wear marks but nothing that even remotely stands out. On the rod it reads “ABU Garcia Conolon POLARIS Graphite tm Blank Thru Handle--100% Graphite Withe 3 Boron Sensor Strips tm PG 56 M 5’ 6” - 165 cm. Medium Action Rod 912343 1/4 - 3/4 oz. 0 - 30 g. Lures 8-20 Lb. Line.” On the handle it reads “POLARIS” on the left & right side and in the middle it reads “LX 33 tm.”
