But don’t let the super-slim, light-weight design fool you, this is a strong fly rod with a 46 ton, nano carbon-fiber backbone.Its a fast/med-fast action rod, which means it’s action is fast but still has great “feel.” The rod is constructed with a complement of top-quality components, a proprietary AAA contoured cork handle, and of course a Toray carbon-fiber backbone, the most reliable and advanced modulus carbon-fiber available. The rod boast a beautiful Chestnut burl wood set against a gunmetal aluminum reel seat.
