This rod is also famous for being designed by Russ Peake, who frequented the factory to make his own blanks. It uses a unique metal spigot. It is specified as a #7, but with modern lines, a #5 would be just right. There are small scratches on the blank, but there are no noticeable large scratches and it is in good condition. The guide thread is also in good condition, with no cracks. The ferrule is also in good condition, with no noticeable rattle. The grip shows signs of use, but is in good condition considering its age. This is a used rod in good condition that can be used for actual fishing in the future. Accessories include the original rod socks and rod case.
