The rattlesnake fishing rod is the most popular fishing rod that I make. MKFishingrods.com I laminate rattlesnake skin directly to the blank. The grips are totally awesome. This is an extremely labor intensive fishing rod to build. This particular rod has rattlesnake laminated to it from butt to tip. Absolutely beautiful. I also attached the rattle for effect. Sound adds another dimension. If you not paying attention while fishing, you will hear it. I added a couple of 1/2 carat moissanite gemstones and installed them as the rattlesnake eyes. Really cool as they are more sparkly than diamonds. I am extremely well known and have made hundreds of custom rods in the past. Demand is high for the fishing rods that I build. The fishing rods I build are built custom to your specifications. These fishing rods are meant to be fished with. Unfortunately many of the rods I have build in the past are hanging up on customer's walls and are kept as trophies. Do not worry. Use the fishing rod. Scratch it up all you need to. I can restore any fishing rod to brand new at any later date assuming the rod is not broken or damaged in any other way. The Custom Fishing Rods in the pictures was built for me to fish blackfish in October. For years now I have sold some of my personal stock as fisherman have begged me to sell them rods in stock. The Grips are totally awesome and will not slip out of your hands. I have alligator skin, stingray skin, shark skin, cow leather, ostrich skin, cobra skin, crocodile skin and a whole plethora of materials available to me to make your grips. I have the experience to make them. The Blank used this fishing rod in the picture is a North Fork Composite blank made by Gary Loomis. I believe that these are the best blanks available for this type of fishing rod. However, I will build with any blank you like. If the blank you choose is more expensive, you have to pay the difference in the cost. The reel seats and butt caps are made out of machined aluminum and are made by ALPS. Absolutely the best on the market. However, you may have any style real seat that you like. You may have the rod built with or without a head and with or without fangs. Rattlesnake rattles are also available as they are really cool. The length of the front grip, rear grip and the fishing rod will be custom built the way you like it. The guides are the very high quality Fuji Ring Guides. This particular rod has an acid wrap. This means the guides start on the top for the conventional reel and then rotate to the bottom like on a spinning rod. The acid wrap will give you more control in the rocks.
