I personally went to Florida to hunt this gator. The grips are absolutely beautiful and feel great in your hands. They have a large diameter. I have shark leather, crocodile, stingray, cow leather, ostrich skin, cobra skin, rattlesnake skin and a whole plethora of materials available to me to make your grips. I have the experience to make them. The fishing rods I build are built custom to your specifications. These fishing rods are meant to be fished with. Unfortunately, many of the rods I have build in the past are hanging up on customer's walls and are kept as trophies. Do not worry. Use the fishing rod. Scratch it up all you need to. I can restore any fishing rod to brand new at any later date assuming the rod is not broken or damaged in any other way. The Blank is a Gary Loomis Northfork Composite Blank. I believe that these are the best blanks available. However, I will build with any blank you like. If the blank you choose is more expensive, you have to pay the difference in the cost. The reel seat and butt cap are made out of machined aluminum. You may have any reel seat or butt cap you like. I recommend Alps. Alps makes top quality reel seats that are absolutely beautiful and I have never had one fail. They are solid. The transitions are custom built and can be made to your exact specification for color and design. You get to choose your colors and whether you want the fishing rod to sparkle in the sunlight. The paint job is awsome. I utilized a dark blue custom mixed color and installed real sharks teeth and real seahorses into the transitions to achieve the effect. I can mix any colors that you like. I can add anything low profile into the transition as well. The length for the grips and the fishing rod itself will be to your specifications. The fishing rod in the picture includes a beautiful marbled paint job on the blank from the front grip all the way to the tip. The guides that I usually build with are the highest quality Fuji Silicon Carbide Guides. This fishing rods utilizes alconite ring guides by Fuji as they are top quality and are overly sufficient for this application.
