This rod has a crack / fraying at the connection point where the t o pieces connect. But the cracking is completely covered once connected goes past the cracking / fraying. Still is extremely strong and durable. Previous owner probably didn’t store it correctly or someone stepped on the tip. Have used it personally on 2 plus lb trout fighting hard. No issue at connection point. So selling as is but this is completely useable and likely fixable with boat epoxy or something of the likes. Great river rod, or decent shore fishing rod.
