Our FLK IGFA Tournament Series Big Game 130lbs classoffshore rods were designed by giant bluefin tuna fishermen in New England and conformto all the current IGFA specifications. Each rod is constructed from the highest qualitymaterials. When we were designing theserods we were looking for the right combination of strength and bend. These custom rods, start with a hybrid “fiberglass-carbon”blend giving the rod the right amount of strength and flex needed to fight andconquer the power of these Giant Bluefin Tuna. We have purposely created a rod length of 7’-2” to be sure that the linestays far enough away from the boat, when a tuna dives deep. The rods come with a detachable aerospace grade aluminumbent butt and seven custom designed 316 stainless steel ball bearing big footguides. The fore grip is made from “X-pattern”compressed/dense foam to deliver superior grip without any slip. These rods areproven to not break or fatigue. We havetested them successfully landing Bluefin Tuna over 600 pound. All rods come with a lifetime limited guarantee.
